The Setúbal co-operative is hailed as a shining example of the revolution in Portugese winemaking - Truly 'wines of the Sun'. Over the last 15 years the co-op has followed a strategy of modernisation with the objective of continuously improving the quality of its wines. More than 7 million Euros have been spent on vinification and bottling equipment. The winemaker, Jamie Quendera, skilfully blends warm native varieties, such as Castelão, to produce wines bursting with flavour.
