Verpaille Macon Chardonnay

Aromas: pear, apple, white peach, white flowers, citrus zest, sometimes a faint exotic or muscat-like lift from the old vines. 
Texture: rounder and creamier than Chablis, but still fresh and tense.
Structure: medium-bodied with bright acidity and chalky/mineral grip from clay-limestone soils.
Finish: clean, saline, lightly buttery/leesy, with lingering citrus and stone fruit
