Peter Lehmann's Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon has been recognised all over the world as one of Australia’s great Cabernet Sauvignon styles. The 1993 Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded the trophy for Best Cabernet in the World at the International Wine and Spirit Competition. Respected American wine critic Robert Parker Jnr is also an admirer and stated in the October 2002 edition of Wine Advocate that Peter Lehmann Cabernet is “One of the world’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon values...”.  Andrew Wigan, Chief winemakes at Lehmann said that  2002 was 'probably the best Cabernet vintage I've ever seen in the Barossa' and this wine shows the fruits of this promise. Intense ripe blackcurrant fruit on the nose, following through on the palate. Rich, velvety texture and juicy cassis flavours, complex oak character and fine tannins. Classy wine and a steal at this price.
