Whisky Oban 14 years

Founded in 1794 at the heart of the coastal town known as "The Gateway to the Isles", this is one of the smallest distilleries in Highlands and Scotland. Oban's tiny stills marry the sea air character of the Island malts to the soft, richly fruity style of the Highlands, creating their own rich, elegant and glowing West Highland malt.
Nose: Rich and smoky, medicinal notes are quite evident with notes of the sea; seaweed, tarry ropes, cut hay and wood smoke rising with a gentle estery sweetness.
Palate: thick and full. Citrus with smooth sweetness, smoke wafts with notes of seaweed. The oak is quite rich with grist and cereal and malt.
Finish: Good length with fruit and dry oak
