Italy - Sicily. Single vineyard Etna, elegant and complex, with redcurrant and wild cherry fruit balanced by savoury spice. Fine, grippy tannins give structure, with juicy acidity leading to a long and fresh finish. The 2018 picked up a Gold at last year’s Decanter World Wine Award and will be followed by the equally delicious 2019. Delicate aromas of wild cherry with herbal and lightly spicy notes. The palate is elegant and complex with redcurrant and sour cherry fruit balanced by savoury characters. Fine, grippy tannins give structure, with juicy acidity leading to a long and fresh finish.
