Prestigious St Estephe estate, classified as one of the 15 Second Growth chateaux in the 1855 Bordeaux classification. Situated at the southern end of St Estephe, close to Chateau Lafite in neighbouring Pauillac.

2008 was the first vintage to be produced in new state of the art wine-making facilities at the chateau, and the quality is already apparent in the resulting wine. The nose presents notes of black fruit, licorice and tobacco. This is a complex wine that offers both power and finesse. Elegant and velvety on the palate.
Blend: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc

There is a limited stock of this wine. Provenance is guaranteed - having been bought en primeur, it arrived from the Chateau and into bonded warehouse in Octavian, Corsham in 2011.
