Located just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, the La Escultura Estate vineyard in the Casablanca Valley is the source of grapes for our Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc. This location enjoys a coastal influence that moderates temperatures during the ripening period, and cool ocean breezes enable an easy and gradual ripening that helps conserve the grape’s flavours and ensures good acidity levels.
85% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Gewurztraminer. Sauvignon Blanc contributes citrus fruit, apricot, and honey character, the Gewürztraminer adds a lush mouthfeel, delicate floral notes, and complexity to the blend. Once fermentation was completed, 100% of the lots were aged in multiple-use French oak barrels for 6 months.
