James Healy and Ivan Sutherland left Cloudy Bay in 2003, after many years service as winemaker and vineyard manager respectively, to make wine from Ivan`s Dog Point vineyard.

Fruit is sourced from selected vineyard plantings of older well-established vines. Low yields, hand harvesting, natural yeasts, natural malolactic, lots of lees contact and a generally low tech approach are key to the magnificence of these wines.

'A mixture of ripe tropical and citrus fruits.
Intensely varietal with an excellent balance of fruit
and acidity.'   www.dogpoint.co.nz
