Well established as our house Champagne and great value. Made by a single grower, the Robert family, which grows the grapes and makes the wine. The benefit of this being  - no huge advertising and marketing spend to factor in to the price, and also good local character in the wine. The estate has 30 hectares in the north of the Aube on chalk and limestone. 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay is planted. Every bottle is aged at least 3 years in bottle before release. Lovely full flavoured, crisp style of Champagne with rich fruit. Until reciently this champagne was labled as 'J.P. Robert'. The wine is unchanged - as good as ever.
