Marsala Superiore Garibaldi Dolce - Half Bottle
In 1880 Paolo Pellegrino founded a winery in the town of Marsala in Sicily, to produce fortified wine. This style of wine became hugely popular among the Victorians and Marsala thus became a household name in Britain. Today, Pellegrino remains a family run company and the undisputed market leader for this style of wine.
The Superiore Dolce Marsala requires by law a miminum of 2 years aging. It is rich, dark, smooth and lusciously sweet with a hint of wood and caramel on the nose. It is best served chilled and is ideal with chocolate based desserts.
